It’s a device designed to test the operation of the P1 port of a smart meter as well as the correctness of the smart meter’s data transmission.
The results can be easily read from the device’s LEDs and can also be accessed via the application on your smartphone.
The P1 Tester is compatible with DSMR 4.0 and DSMR 5.0 and Belgian e-MUCS H standards.
The device has a rechargeable battery which gets charged whenever the P1 Tester is connected to a P1 port of a smart meter or to a USB, via the included microUSB cable.
